CHURCH HISTORY

Church of the Messiah is a Reformed Anglican Church (think J.I. Packer, John Stott, J.C. Ryle), founded in 1865 in downtown Ottawa. In 2007, they separated from the Anglican Church of Canada over it’s decision to abandon the authority of Scripturel and were a founding church of the Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC), a network of churches that rally around the Scriptures, evangelism and the historical biblical Christian faith.

Church of the Messiah saw the huge population growth in Ottawa's West End as an opportunity to share the Gospel to many new Canadians and young families. Daniel began the process of planting Church of the Messiah - West in 2018.
